According to legend, Turkish soldiers who used to seek refuge in the jungle and hunt for wild meat created the dish in the open fields. They would do so by roasting the entire or minced meat over the fire on their swords. The seekh kabab dish is one of the most popular street food snacks in India and is served in many restaurants and dhabas (open-air street food points). Beef Seekh Kabab is made from a mix of minced beef, onions, garlic, ginger, chilli powder, garam masala, and other spices.

  1. Beef qeema( mince): ½ kg
  2. Salt: 1 tablespoon
  3. Red chilli powder: 1 tablespoon
  4. Black pepper: ½ tablespoon
  5. Garam masala: ½ tablespoon
  6. Poppy seeds: 3 tablespoon
  7. Green chilli: 3 chopped
  8. Onion: 1 (chopped)
  9. Dreid coriander: ½ tablespoon
  10. Gram flour: 4 tablespoon

Steps involved:

  • Take the mince and mix all the ingredients in it.
  • Make the kabab shapes
  • Heat some oil in the pan and fry the kababs on low flame.

Serving:

Serve them with ketchup or mint raita.
