Chicken tikka masala, a globally adored dish, has a somewhat disputed origin, with multiple theories surrounding its creation. One popular belief suggests that it originated in the United Kingdom, where Indian flavours were adapted to suit British tastes. Another theory suggests that it may have roots in Indian cuisine, particularly Punjabi cuisine, with variations of similar dishes pre-existing in the region. Regardless of its precise origins, chicken tikka masala has become an iconic dish that showcases the fusion of Indian and British culinary influences.

  1. Chicken: 100gram
  2. Tikka masala: 2 tablespoons
  3. Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
  4. Vinegar: 2 tablespoons
  5. Chilli sauce: 2 tablespoons
  6. Corn flour: 2 tablespoons

Steps to follow:

  • Take oil in a pan heat it and add sliced onions.
  • Fry it for some time and then add ginger garlic paste.
  • Cover it for 5 minutes.
  • Then add all the spices to it and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Then add yoghurt to it.
  • Then tell the oil to get separated
  •  Garnish with coriander leaves

Serving:

Serve it with chapati or naan.
