- Ingredients
- Rice: 2 glasses
- Chickpeas: 2 cups
- Oil: 2 cups
- Onions: 2 large
- Tomatoes: 1 large
- Pickle: 1 tablespoon
- Tamarind: 1 tablespoon
- Plums: 1 tablespoon
- Salt: 1 tablespoon
- Dry coriander powder: 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala: 1 tablespoon
- Kashmiri mirch: 4-5
- Black cardamom: 2
- Cloves: 4-5
Steps to follow:
- Take oil in a pot and add onions to it.
- Add onions to it and fry them until they change colour.
- Then add all the spices to it except garam masala.
- Then add chickpeas to it.
- Then add water to it.
- Once the water starts boiling add rice to it.
- Then cook it until the water dries up a little.
- Add garam masala and simmer it for 10 minutes.
Serving:
Serve it with raita or salad.
