Macaroni is a variety of pasta that can be of any shape like fusilli, rigatoni, or penne. Originated from ancient Greece, Italy. It is a quick, easy and tasty dish that is made all over the world in different styles with different tastes. It is made with different recipes in different regions. It can be made with a variety of ingredients like vegetables, chicken, cream and cheese.
- Ingredients
- Macaroni: 1 packet
- Salt: 1 tablespoon
- Water
- Oil: 3 tablespoons
- Garlic (chopped) 1 tablespoon
- Onion chopped: 1 (small)
- Chopped carrots: ½ cup
- Chicken (cube-shaped): 1 cup
- Chopped capsicum: ½ cup
- Soy sauce: 1 ½ tablespoon
- Chilli sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Vinegar: 1 tablespoon
- Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper: ½ tablespoon
- Tikka masala: 1 tablespoon
Step 1: boil macaroni
- In a pan take water
- Add 1 tablespoon of salt
- Then add macaroni and boil on a high flame until the macaroni is cooked
Step 2: cook chicken and vegetables
- Take 2-3 spoons of oil in the pan
- Add a tablespoon of chopped garlic to it and let it become golden brown
- Now add a chopped onion to it and fry for 2-3 minutes
- Now add a pinch of salt to it for a slight taste
- Add chicken and fry it
- Add chopped carrots and saute it
- Now add the spices and sauces one by one and mix it
- Cook it for a few minutes on a high flame
- Now add capsicum to it
- Fry it for a minute
Step 3: Mixing
- Take the boiled macaroni and strain it with the help of a strainer.
- Now mix this macaroni with chicken and vegetables
Serving:
Sprinkle some oregano and serve it.
Pro-Tips:
After straining the macaroni, pass through some tap water and add a tablespoon of oil to it, it will keep the macaroni fresh and won’t let it stick.
